Yesterday I was lucky enough to be in attendance as the luxury fashion house of Giorgio Armani celebrated one of their biggest global achievements to date, in honouring their first ever eau de parfum, Acqua Di Gio‘s, half century anniversary. Commemorating and celebrating where it began, where it has grown too and the accolades it has accrued along the way guests were treated to a journey of the 50 years of this luxurious product that has become a global phenomenon and a look at it’s essence, a look back at the things that made it succeed and a look forward to where it is propelling too!
From the sea this masterful creation was engineered but through the legacy of Mr Armani and the brand itself’s love for nature this beautiful product has become a symbol of what beauty can become with the right surroundings. Captivating fragrance lovers and collectors globally, the fragrance, known for it’s citrus accords, is now sold 1 every .6 seconds globally and uses the freshest scents harvested globally purely for it’s creation, but after seeing just how well this scent has grown to become the brand faced a pivotal problem of package wasting and this is why for their 50th anniversary they decided to re-gift us with a new and innovative idea – the refillable canister and a exterior packaging that is all recyclable, showing us all further their love for nature and this product.
If you weren’t lucky enough to be in attendance at this stunning birthday party for Giorgio Armani‘s hero product Acqua Di Gioor get to learn about the new and exciting things pushing this product forward then I can tell you you ready did miss out, but never the less I do have a first look at some of the day and new innovation you can expect from the best 50th anniversary anyone has ever seen!
