Over the last couple of months I was lucky enough to get to work with vodka company Stoli and showcase their newest flavoured products and how they are perfect for making a delectable martini twist no matter where you are in two really cool events, one in Melbourne and one in Sydney. With my crazy, busy life the brand asked me to showcase just how it fit into my life, so in an effort to show balance I hosted some of my lovely friends in both a movie night in and a dinner night out that highlighted how the ever-classic martini was the perfect taste for any mood.
Starting in Melbourne, while I was down at home for work, I took a night off and treated myself and my friends to a home cooked meal that not only centred around a big night in, but how 2 of the brands delectable cocktail recipes were the perfect treat! Working with the idea of showcasing the Cucumber martini and a sweet dessert Salted Karamel martini, and using two of the brands newest flavours Cucumber vodka & Salted Karamel, I paired back the food options so they highlighted the two cocktails and worked perfectly with the theme of the event. An array of home-made pizzas, nachos, pesto-pasta and lasagne was on offering before moving to the lounge area to watch a movie where we had ice-creams, popcorn, chocolates and lollies alongside our sweet dessert martini – and yes it was as yummy as it sounds!
We then headed to my now home, in Sydney where I showcased the martini outside of the night in on a night out with my friends, and as we headed in to the iconic and renowned Pizza place, Boccone, in Potts Point. On arrival we were greeted with a classic martini and as the night progressed the talented team showcased us their spin on what the brands martini options could look like as they also treated us to a delicious array of burrata, salads, pasta’s and of-course wood-fired pizzas, and after it all I was sure that the Stoli martini was a winner, one that no matter where you were or who you were with, as long as they are of age, would be the perfect additive to your night in or out.
