It took everything in me to not tell you all all of the secrets about the new Google Pixel 5 once receiving it last week ahead of it’s global launch, but like asked, I waited and now I can tell you all just how much I love this new piece of technological advancement, who’s tech is as good as it’s wide set of advantages! It’s no secret that as a Google Pixel ambassador I am always excited to share with you the experiences I get to share in and once hearing that I, along with the other ambassadors, would be upgrading my phone I could hardly contain my excitement! 2020 has certainly taught us how much we need our phones, to connect and share with those we love as well as those who are our audience and as an avid phone-user I know first hand how important it is to have a great phone that works well – and I have to tell you all that I didn’t think the Pixel 4 could be topped – but I was wrong!
Sporting some big changes the new phone comes equipped with some great tech, so let me just jump in and give you some facts – the battery life on this new phone is epic – it can last up to 48 hours and prioritises your favourite apps, using less power on those you rarely use, not to mention that it charges fast and can charge wirelessly! The help is back and right at your fingertips – the Google assistant is back and update to help you faster and on the go so you can find answers when you need them, no matter where you are! Metal is water’s best friend – the water-resistant metal body and superhero-level security chip help to ensure that your data, and device, stay protected no matter what little spill you have! Staying one step ahead – the phone scans for incoming threats from calls, texts, emails and links sent from other apps. It also scans over 100 billion apps a day to keep your phone and you safe! Faster for longer – the new 5G technology allows you to hotspot in 5G giving you impeccable lightning-fast signal (even to your friends or on a laptop) and allows you to download super fast – and this is all before we talk about one that’s near and dear to me – the camera.
The phone that helps you to take your best shots – No matter whether you have a photoshoot day or night the phone helps capture moments with stunning clarity and allows you to take clips with Hollywood-inspired effects! No more shadowy selfies – If shadows get in the way of a great portrait you can drop in extra lights to illuminate your subjects. You can also adjust the lighting later on in the photos app! Capture the big picture – the ultra-wide lens lets you fit entire jaw-dropping scenes in your photos and capture more so you can remember every scenic view! Keep your magical moments vibrant HDR+ automatically enhances colour and lighting so that the photos you take stay as vivid as you remember! Take photos in the dark – from low-light portraits to starry nights, Night Sight lets you capture all the beautiful details without having to use the flash. Video calling that feels more like teleporting – With Duo screen share in HD, you can read articles, watch live sports and laugh together as if you were sitting in the same room!
