Riding High: Puma’s New Rider Duo

Breaking the mould of typical running shoes with it’s release in the 1980s the Puma fast rider has become something iconic and the brands newest update shows exactly that! The archived legend is injected with seasonal on-trend colours and heightened details for the users experience and I have to say after seeing the updated collection, featuring the new future rider and style rider, for myself yesterday the brand has clearly levelled up on an already iconic piece you should already own. Returning today in all it’s 80s glory the updated sneakers are a preview to where the brand is heading, a new era which is not only modernly beautiful but timelessly effortless and with pieces that are relevant not only now but for years to come which is why I know we all will be seeing these shoes around.

Bold colour blocking, lightweight cushioning and it’s traditional grippy rubber sole all return with the update along with the brands new technology such as the shock-absorbing Federbein outsole, IMEVA midsole providing lightweight cushioning and full lace closure not to mention the fabrication of a textile upper ad suede toe/heel overlay which leaves the foot feeling light and breezy! The new collection is the perfect encapsulation of sports-luxe and showcases both the iconic street style the brand is known to associate with while staying true to its sports heritage.

If you’re yet to see the new Puma¬†rider pack then take a look below at some of my favourites from the collections injection or head online/ in-store to see the full range of colours and do yourself a favour and get a pair before everyone else does, your feet can thank me later…
